Growing up in the high deserts of Montana and Oregon, Liesl Meissner learned an appreciation for nature, beauty, and hard work early on. While her disciplines widely vary from painting to sculpture to photography, her focus remains on creating a relationship between the material and the viewer, whether it be the sensation of coarse concrete on the hand or the emotion a hint of bold color evokes.

She currently lives in Portland, OR and owns Breeze & Branch, an art studio offering classes for beginners and beyond.
